Agrinos CEO Wagner Among Featured Speakers at Microbiome AgBioTech Summit
RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 17, 2017)―Agrinos chief executive officer, Dr. Ry Wagner, will be among a select group of biological industry experts speaking at the Microbiome AgBioTech Summit in Raleigh, N.C. February 21 – 23.
The Microbiome AgBioTech Summit brings pioneers of microbial science together with agriculture’s foremost innovators to enhance understanding of the complex plant-microbiome and how microbial based products are enhancing crop production and agricultural sustainability.
Dr. Wagner’s presentation, “Integration of Biologics with Standard Farmer Processes: Advancing Wide-Scale Adoption,” will review the natural transition into biologics. Dr. Wagner will discuss ways to educate farmers about the value of integrating microbial products into traditional production practices. He will also address methodologies for ensuring the consistency of microbial-based solutions and designing new diagnostic tools for famers. Dr. Wagner’s presentation will be delivered at 3:00 pm ET on February 22.
Through its scientific formulation and proprietary co-fermentation process, Agrinos has created a platform of products with a robust consortium of microbes and/or complex blends of critical nutrients. When applied, this formulation of commensal and beneficial microbes creates an environment favorable for plant growth in both ideal and harsh conditions.
Dr. Wagner has served as chief executive officer of Agrinos since 2014. Under his leadership, Agrinos has continued to expand its position as a worldwide leader in developing novel biological solutions to improve crop yield, health and quality. He is the author of over 30 scientific research publications and is an inventor with over 50 patents issued. Dr. Wagner received a Bachelor of Science in Botany and Plant Pathology from Michigan State University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics from the University of Washington.
